I have been vacationing at Cape San Blas/Indian Pass for about 25 years, always trying a different beach front home. I have finally found the home that I have already booked for next fall. The home is older but well maintained and obviously cared for. Palm trees near the road provide some privacy. The lot next door is empty. The home is all on one level and the layout is genius. It feels spacious and windows are all across for a beach view. Home is well decorated and nicely furnished. Kitchen has everything. Linens are very soft. The home is very clean. The decks are fantastic, it has been divided into 3 : 1. covered and screened (great for dining), 2.Covered and not screened with sturdy adirondack chairs 3. not covered and not screened. There is another level of deck lower that is open . Due to the fencing used, all decks will keep children and dogs contained. Easy walk to beach. Pristine Realty was great to deal with, polite and helpful. We had one minor issue upon arriving and the maintenance man arrived within 10 minutes and was helpful and friendly, My only recommendation would be to add a screen to the living room french sliding door. The flies like to come inside. I left a fly swatter there. Anxious to come back.

We had a lovely time! The location was wonderful and the beach was so private. We were most impressed with the screened in deck that was perfect for our dog to join us outside and not have to worry about her going anywhere!

The furniture and stove really need to be addressed. At least have one sofa that is supportive and I will definitely be back. Otherwise I loved the property! And PP could not have been better.

Overall we liked this house a lot. The layout is good (each room is a healthy size- the 2 without beach views share a hallway bathroom, and the beach view room is the master an en suite bath). The kitchen, dining, and living is all one open room, which worked great for us. The beds and couches were comfortable and felt clean. The kitchen was pretty well equipped, and I saw a few nonporous metal pots/pans if that's important to you for dietary reasons. There are shaded and non-shaded areas of the deck, which we (and the dogs) appreciated along with the recess, where you can be outside but escape some of the wind. The house felt clean, and the flooring is updated. There were a couple soft spots in the floor. The indoor dining table was a good size. This is like a true traditional vacation rental vs airbnb style in that you need to use a separate client portal for information and need to bring all essentials (dishwasher detergent, toilet paper, etc). There is not a hot tub as currently listed in the amenities section, they have a large jacuzzi tub in the master en suite. The house is pet friendly, but does require an additional fee payable directly to the management company. We brought 2 dogs, and our fee was $262.50. Not a deal breaker or anything, but we would have preferred to see it in the listing up front. If your party includes young children, older, or disabled members, you may want to know that the dunes were just restored very high directly behind the home making beach access more challenging. It was quite tough for our parents and me to navigate every time we wanted to get the beach and back, and even my husband (fit in his late 20s) agreed it was pretty difficult. Perhaps this will settle some with time and rain, or a boardwalk will be built. I'm not great at estimating measurements, but if I was standing on the beach looking to the house at the base of the dune, I could not see the lower half of the house. I'm about five and a half feet tall. There was some loud, all-day beach construction related to this near the house which was unfortunate for us, but should be completed soon if it's not already. If the access was made easier, we would definitely stay here again.

Unbeatable location. Great family beach. Open floor plan, adorable furnishings, plenty of room for up to 6 comfortably. Plenty of cooking utensils, fantastic deck, will stay here again!

We really enjoyed our stay at Windscape. The only issues were the floor - soft spots in the kitchen and the guest bath, and also we could not get the grill to ignite. Other suggestions would be more TP and garbage can liners. The unit was very clean and well stocked, and a perfect location. Looking forward to coming again some day.

What an amazing location and view. It was a very private lot with pleasant neighbors and an incredible view of the gulf. Sunrise and sunset with the beach right outside the doorway. The beaches were pretty empty and we felt we had lots of personal space (can't say that for many beaches in Florida). We drove around the area a fair amount and felt that this was one of the better locations. The house had a lot of amenities and it was easy to pick up supplies in the surrounding villages. It was incredibly private and just the type of getaway we were looking for.

Wonderful location, only steps to the beach. Very comfortable home with a nice layout. Perfect for our family of 5. My husband was able to work in the “office” area with a beautiful view! We will definitely stay here again.
