We loved the house. Great size for 6 people. Kitchen was well equipped and loved how open the downstairs is. Easy walk to beach and pool. The grounds were great for a morning walk or swim. We did not have internet access in the house, unless you were upstairs on the screened porch and it was not great. Did contact Pristine properties twice, they did reply saying would get back with us, but it was not resolved and we were not contacted again.- Posted: 6/30/2024

This was out 2nd stay at the Sandpiper, and we're already planning our 3rd for 2025. The property is perfect for a family or small group of adults! Just a short walk gets you to the beach, several restaurants, a general store for anything you may have left at home, and a heated pool 😍 What more do you need on a vacation??- Posted: 4/27/2024

Enjoyed our stay. The boardwalk to the beach was right out our door. The village pizza place was an easy walk of 2 blocks for a fresh salad, pizza and wings. The ride into Port St Joe is all of 4-5 minutes. Area is rebounding well from last hurricane. Huge perk for this place is the parking and the kitchen has everything. Beds were comfy. Air conditioning kept us cool. We enjoyed the open porch and the large screened in porch. A few other reviewers commented on the music from the outdoor groups that played. We actually enjoyed it. Ended by10 but even if it didn’t I don’t think it would have disrupted sleep. They played just the Saturday night of our stay. My only hang up is the tv service. At home,I turn it on and it’s there. Most rentals, this one included, use a smart tv system. Roku. Just mentally prepare to adjust to that if that’s not your normal. I had my login for my home provider so I was able to access a few specific channels. This is not a knock on this rental or any other, it’s just a heads up to future renters. Would definitely rent here again!- Posted: 6/25/2023
We loved this rental. The community is lovely. Boardwalks throughout to easily walk everywhere. Very comfortable beds. Well stocked kitchen. Screened in porch was great. The only downside was the pool was closed for the week we were there, and we were not told that prior or ever told why it was closed.- Posted: 5/3/2023
We enjoyed our stay, property was clean and perfect!- Posted: 4/28/2023
We enjoyed this property and love the area. We will definitely rent again!- Posted: 4/11/2023
The house is new and clean. It is part of the WindMark community, which features a small walkable area of shops and boardwalk access to the bay. It doesn't have a view, but the beach is 2 minutes away. There aren't many restaurants yet. The shop that rents paddle boards etc was very friendly. The only complaint about the property is that it is close to where the community holds live music events, which can be heard inside the house, though not overly distracting (events end at 10pm).- Posted: 10/10/2022
It was a very nice home. Everything was fine.- Posted: 9/5/2022

Had a wonderful vacation house was great short distance to beach.- Posted: 5/30/2022
Of the many beach houses that we’ve been fortunate to stay in, “The Sandpiper,” definitely tops our list. From the moment we walked in, the natural sunlight beamed right into the dining/living room, welcoming us in its warmth, while the illuminance steadily continued to cover the entire place. Our attention was immediately drawn to the beach themed art on the wall and modern/rustic decor, with an emphasis on one of my favorite colors or at least what I perceived it to be, turquoise. Everything was absolutely beautiful and we truly appreciated the simplistic but yet elegant arrangements. Everything we needed was here, especially in the kitchen, which was excellent because we enjoy cooking. Furthermore, this home is spacious, comforting and conveys a sense of peace. As for the community- absolutely loved it. The house is situated in very close proximity to the village center and the beach, both of which only took approximately 5 minutes to walk. Believe it or not, our vehicle never left the drive way for the duration of our stay. Also, the concept of interconnecting the homes in the vicinity, with boardwalks, adds a nice touch as well. Last but not least, my fiancé and I witnessed some of the most amazing sunsets at the beach. Thankfully, we captured those pleasant memories by taking many photos and videos. Although we can always view them to relive those experiences, we know that it’s always best to return and see them again in real life. That being said, we look forward to our return to, “The Sandpiper” soon!- Posted: 5/24/2022
The Sandpiper was a gorgeous home that my family and myself adored. Pristine properties made my entire experience with booking the home through air bnb flawless and I will definitely be using them again for future vacations. Everything was perfect!- Posted: 3/25/2022

EVERYTHING! Breath taking! Beautiful! Loved it! Lack of cleaning supplies. There wasn’t any trash bags or Anything to clean up with. We did buy stuff and left it there.- Posted: 3/14/2022
Very nice and quiet. Loved it!- Posted: 6/9/2021
Great house. Super clean, great location. 5 minute walk to beach 1 to the pool. We’ll definitely be back.- Posted: 5/31/2021
A very nice property and the reservation process, including gear rental, was very easy. A few minor adjustments and this could be a 5-star review.

This is a refreshing well furnished cozy family home! Would highly recommend it for those with children as the house and the development it is located in are ideal for families. From the well maintained boardwalks that lead you quickly to the beaches where the sand is lovely, clean and full of shells, to the gently lapping waves (Cape San Blas acts as a buffer). There was enough variety of weather that some days the waves were medium enough to be fun for young children to "battle" and other days when it was like a gently lapping lake. The beaches are wide enough and good quality sand and LOTS of shells (more than Cape San Blas). The water in front of the WindMark development is clean and not full of seaweed or obstructions. It is a little murkier since it's on the bay and the waves are rarely enough to please older kids (tween/teen) but a day trip to Cape San Blas for some wave/swimming action is easy and convenient. All ages will appreciate the many long well paved trails for riding/skating (any kinda wheels), or just walking. There is even an incredible deserted 1.5 mile stretch of abandoned old Highway just NW connecting the WindMark to Mexico beach. It's open to the public and has beach access in 2 places. One in the middle (look for parking spaces on beach side with trail coming right out the middle) and one at the opposite end from Windmark. That area is breathtaking peaceful true Florida beach habitat that won't be that way for long undoubtedly (already they are breaking ground on a huge development). The pool which you have access to is PERFECT for young children! It's got a GREAT playground right there which good padding underneath and the pool itself is a wonderful design for kids with it's zero entry area and it being only 4.5 feet deep at it's deepest points. The restaurant looks lovely but we didn't try it. The WindMark complex is very convenient (10 min either direction) to Port St. Joe and Mexico Beach where you'll find grocery, restaurant or other shopping available (unlike Cape San Blas which is extremely limited - which is ok too :)). This area is a quite nature and family oriented area without major attractions, heavy drinking everywhere, mobs of student spring breakers, and the litter that goes along with those. If you're looking for some classic beach relaxation this is the right spot. The house is brand new and immaculate. Love all the simple, clean, white décor. The kitchen supplies were top of the line and had everything you needed and maybe more! The beds are extremely comfortable and the bedding soft and just the right weight with some extra blankets that were cozy for snuggling on the couch. The TVs were useful on rainy days and we appreciated the owners leaving their account logged in so we could use their HBO, Netflix, and Amazon Prime accounts as guests, although others may wish to log them out and log into their own accounts. The shower pressure and showers themselves were all you could ask for! Love the outdoor shower and foot sprayer on the side of the house. My kids thought the landscaping was a giant sandbox and played in it for hours! The THREE screened porches are also delightful places to take in the sounds and sights of nature while being protected from mosquitos. We didn't see any mosquito's in early April, but I'd bet the marshes that form after rainstorms under the nearby boardwalks turn into breeding grounds later when it warms up ;) All in all this property and the property management are everything you could ever ask for. We found the cost to be very reasonable too considering all you're getting!
