Fantastic place, very comfortable, up-to-date and well-maintained. You're right on the water and not having any beach in front affords even more privacy. I'd highly recommend this place!- Posted: 1/8/2025
Thank you for your kind words, Gregory. We're glad you found the property comfortable and appreciated the privacy it offers. We hope to host you again in the future!Visit Florida Beaches staff
If you are looking for a quiet, peaceful, and clean beach retreat then this is the spot for you! We loved the sunsets on the screened in patio or walks along the beach. The space was very cozy and felt just like home. The perfect place to stay for my surprise engagement!- Posted: 9/21/2024
We've stayed in this complex a few times now and this particular unit a couple times now. Love it here! Looking forward to next year!- Posted: 9/10/2024

We had a wonderful time here. There's really nothing I can say that is negative. Fabulous time, fabulous place, fabulous host, and some awesome memories to have forever. Hopefully to return again soon! Thank you!- Posted: 9/8/2024

Beautiful home away from home. Exactly what we wanted. Thank you. We will definitely be back.- Posted: 3/23/2024
Beautiful views, can see the ocean and bay. You will hear the ocean and wind at night. This air bnb is located about 20 mins from actual Port St. Joe (with a downtown area, restaurants, grocery stores etc.) so plan accordingly because most places close at 8/9 PM.- Posted: 10/21/2023
Excellent location for family with kids
Remote and private area loved the condo- Posted: 10/8/2023
This place was absolutely amazing! Beautiful, clean, amazingly convenient, right on the ocean. We brought our 5 month old grandson and wanted the convenience of oceanfront, which this had. The ocean was gorgeous, right up to the front t of the property. Place was gorgeous and views amazing. The covered deck was sooooo nice, you can enjoy the ocean without the sun beating down on you and without the messy sand! The only downfall was we paid a premium for the location and to avoid toting baby and all his stuff ti the beach every time. The access to the beach (stairs) in our side was blocked off so we had to go all the way to the end of the complex to access the beach. This was very disappointing due to the high price we paid for easy access. These steps could have been easily fixed and I am not sure why it wasn't when everything else was perfect.- Posted: 6/9/2023
Loved the waves, the house was beautifully decorated and comfortable.- Posted: 4/11/2023
Can’t beat the views.- Posted: 3/25/2023
The views and location cannot be beat. The decor and amenities overall were on theme, comfortable and great. We loved the layout, space and area. Pictures didn’t do this place justice.- Posted: 2/21/2023
Beautiful place right on the water! The place had everything we needed!!- Posted: 3/11/2023

Loved this place- Posted: 9/17/2022
This is a great unit in a great location. The area is quite and peaceful. The unit had beach toys and the additional porch area on the ground level was a great place to play games and have dinner.- Posted: 8/5/2022
No beach access!
- Posted: 5/5/2022
Beach access from the units at Sunrise Sunset has been made more challenging with the beach erosion experienced in this area of Cape San Blas.

The property was perfect and very well maintained. The only issue is that the pictures on the internet suggested there was a beach front ... the property had a retaining wall that waves crashed against so we were really in the water rather than on the water. The beach to the right of the property was limited and barely existed during high tide. We made it work, had a great week, and the townhouse was perfect. Only issue is misrepresentation of beach area.
- Posted: 4/16/2022
The beach area in front of the Sunrise Sunset units can be limited based on the time of year, the tides, and recent storm activity. If you were to try to build these units today they would not be allowed due to the proximity to the water. This is one of the reasons we mention you can't get any closer to the water than these properties.

Didn’t realize there wasn’t a beach in front of the condo. Lovely still!
- Posted: 4/9/2022
The gulf waters were certainly higher due to the recent storm/wind activity and you combine that with these units sittings as far out towards the water as possible and there's not a lot of chance for much beach. We are glad we had sunny weather during your stay and hope to see you return.

Great condition!

W enjoyed out month long stay at Pelican Crossing. The home is very comfortable and beautifully decorated. We enjoyed the waves hitting the seawall. Getting to the beach was no problem - just walk along side the building. All in all - we had a great vacation! One thing that could be improved. The stairways should have a grippable hand rail. The "fingerhold" railing does not provide much support. It's a safety issue.- Posted: 1/29/2022
Terrific house. Location cannot be beat right on the water and easy access to anything you’d need on the cape. The views are superb. The beach does disappear a bit during high tide but nothing we couldn’t manage as we got plenty of beach time.

Loved being RIGHT on the beach, although (and not your fault) some visitors have zero beach etiquette - i.e. setting their tents right at the bottom of the stairs and playing music so loud you couldn't visit with your own people --- wish there was a noise ordinance or music ban on the beach!

Beautiful and relaxing place right over the water! This was our 2nd time to Pelican Crossing and we will be back.
- Posted: 7/24/2021
Need a picnic table to better utilize the veranda area, as the other townhomes have done.
- Posted: 7/17/2021
We’ve stayed at Pelican Crossing for the last several years and find it to be our best fit on the cape? We’ve stayed on the northern end but prefer sunrise sunset.
- Posted: 6/19/2021
The property itself was wonderful. It was discouraging to see the amount of beach erosion. We had to wait to access the beach until the tide was lower, otherwise there was no beach to sit on.
- Posted: 6/27/2021
This unit as well as all the others in Sunrise Sunset sit as close to the water as you can get leaving very little beach on normal days. That being said with the pending weather from Tropical Storm Claudette probably played a large factor.

Pelican Crossing is the most beautiful location we have ever stayed in! Very quiet and right on the beach! You cannot get any closer! It was like having our on little slice of Heaven!

Lots of new or recovered furniture. Nice appliances.

All TVs upstairs did not have cable channels. Also my wife has moblity issues too many. Steps. She has to sleep downstairs. Love location but will look for something 1 level.

This is a BEAUTIFUL property and we loved our stay there! We were so disappointed that it was not available for the week we plan to comeback in October.

First trip to The Cape. Even though we fought Sally the entire trip, we had a nice relaxing trip. The property is nicely decorated...and is absolutely right on the water. Love the decks!

Loved this property, well away from it all
- Posted: 11/21/2020
Property was very nice and we enjoyed our stay. I think a laminated tv remote instruction sheet would be nice in each room. Also a direct number for when you check out would be nice. They got some steps built while we were there so we didn't have to climb up and down on the sand dunes. I loved the screened in porch. All in all loved everything. Thanks for letting us rent.

Only negative was low water pressure. Everything else was great. Thanks for a good stay.
- Posted: 10/10/2020
Thanks for the feedback and we're glad to know you enjoyed your stay. The good news is we've got word that the water pressure issue should be addressed in the coming year as the County has announced plans to purchase the water utility on Cape San Blas in an effort to improve things. We certainly hope so!

Very updated unit with everything you would want for a great stay vacation. Only negative was low water pressure.- Posted: 10/26/2020
Loved the townhome! The location and proximity to the beach was the primary reason for choosing.
