This place is beautiful! We had 4 couples that stayed together and had plenty of room. I love the view of the ocean from the 3 balconies. It is so wonderful just walking out the back door to the beach. It is a very quiet place even during Spring break. The sand is so white and soft.

This is our second time staying at Moonstruck. Overall, it is a lovely place to stay and is well-equipped. My extended family enjoyed there stay. We were thankful that this property was available to accommodate our extended family of 14 people for our annual Thanksgiving trip, especially after our prior 2 accommodations fell through at the last minute. It was a very comfortable house and the owners have thought of nearly everything. The mattresses in the double queen room should only be used by kids if left as is (but really should be upgraded). The rental gear credit was a nice perk that we got with Moonstruck - not sure if this always comes with the house - but we loved renting bikes and using them for the first time.

We had high expectations for this property. We have stayed in quite a few houses on the Cape and all have been fantastic. This one has potential but really needs attention. Compared to the houses we have stayed in, it is not nearly as well-kept, yet is quite a lot higher in price. There were soooo many rats on the property as well. We have never experienced that before either. I would not recommend it to anyone in its current state for the price point. All was not bad however. It was spacious and the elevator worked. The appliances were worn but also worked. The pots and pans and small appliances were worn and old. The living room furniture was nice, but all the ceiling light casings were yellowed. The jets were yellowed as well in the master tub. The trim was separating from the wall in the master bath.

Hi Shirley, as owners, we were distressed to see that you had a poor experience at our home. We have worked for 7 years to improve the house each year. Pristine has been a great partner in that effort. Regular and constant rental certainly makes it a challenge to keep things perfect and much maintenance and improvement has to wait until the offseason. Pristine does what they can without invading the vacation time of our guests.

In 7 years, I have not seen even a single rat in the yard but there appears to be a sudden invasion. Our neighboring owners have confirmed this sudden change. We will work to remove them this fall. 

All of the "yellowed" can lights are scheduled to be replaced with new LED units in the fall. We recognized they are showing their age.

I was surprised that you thought the appliances were worn since the refrigerator, cooking surface, dishwasher, faucet and disposal are all 2 - 5 years old. The oven is the only thing that hasn't been replaced. Pots and pans are replaced every year but get heavy use. We will certainly look at all of those issues with a fresh eye next time we are there.

We are sorry your time there wasn't up to expectations and we pledge to make improvements.

We love this house that sits on the doorstep of the ocean. We love that all rooms for sleeping our good rooms. The elevator is perfect for elderly and luggage and groceries. The kitchen is well stocked with a nice ice maker. The back up refrigerator is very useful. It is as somewhat frustrating to deal with the many home maintenance issues. The water tank blow out the electric issues, the he plumbing issues, the range not working the washer down for 4 weeks. I know some of these cannot be help d but sorry they all happened while we were there. I love that we can send packages to the office. We love- love the beach and sundowns in full view every night. The lovely clear skies with a he Milky Way stretching over the sky.

We understand that any breakdown of appliances can be an annoyance, especially if staying for multiple weeks, but we do our very best to have repairs happen as quickly as possible.  Unfortunately these days appliance parts, more so than normal, have so much longer of a lead time than ever before.  This is why accommodations like access to a washer and oven in a nearby property, additional linens, and resolving issues we could handle immediately were done to help ease the frustration.

This was our 2nd year at Moonstruck and it is the perfect beach house for my family of 15. We had 8 adults and 7 children. There was plenty of space for all of us to find the perfect spot for socializing or having some alone time. The kids thoroughly enjoyed the playroom. The beach access was perfect being right on the gulf with only a short walk to the beach with all our gear, food and drinks. Hope to do it again next year.

 Overall, this property is well maintained. Slightly outdated from what we enjoy but to be on the beach with minimal walk and all the amenities the property offers we will probably rent this again.

I am a CPA so needed a break this time of year.

We enjoyed an amazing week at this beautiful home! Great views, amazing beaches and super-soft sand. We discovered some nice places to eat and shop in Apalachicola and Port St Joe.

You can’t beat great seafood, dolphin-watching, kayaking, breathtaking sunsets and most importantly spending it with friends. Thank you for sharing this spectacular house. We look forward to our next visit.

Warm water, lovely home, comfortable beds means the perfect get-away. The kids really loved it.

Our favorite house on the Cape. The view is magnificent and the house is better. Wonderful days at the beach, games, kayaking, paddle boarding, sunbathing, family, deck sunset toasts, walking, biking, ice cream and donuts at the Trading Post and night-time fires on the beach. It was a great house and we cherish the memories we made there. This has been our favorite house at CSB and we will be back.

We had a blast on Cape San Blas. For many years, we have had our annual Family Reunion on St George Island. This year we rented this beautiful house and couldn’t be happier. The weather was perfect and the water clear and blue. We brought with us cases of the finest wines in the world which accompanied the fresh Spanish mackerel that we caught off the beach. Life doesn’t get better than this. We are leaving you good vibes and many thanks.

Our first time in Cape San Blas and we loved it. The house was spectacular. We had four families and 15 people. Plenty of room to move around and not be right on top of each other. Access to the beach was great and the slower pace of the community suited us to a tee. Kitchen was well stocked and made things easier. Hated to leave but we will be back.

What a wonderful week we had at the beach! Our whole family – 6 adults and 5 kids – all in the same lovely house. Everything was wonderful from the beautiful sunrises out one side to the fascinating sunsets out the other with clear skies to watch the stars at night. We had everything we needed and especially loved the great refrigerator and the separate icemaker. Also liked the décor and the classy beach pictures. We loved Cape San Blas and Moonstruck and will definitely be back.

What a wonderful week we had at Moonstruck… So much so that we never left except to go fishing for grouper or Spanish mackerel and to pick up oysters and shrimp to cook at our family meals every night after the gorgeous sunset. My parents enjoyed celebrating their 87^th and 80^th birthdays while we were here. It was a wonderful house and we look forward to a return visit.

We have so enjoyed our stay at Moonstruck. We have been vacationing on the Cape for 20 years and are so happy to be back after the hurricane. We had the best time celebrating New Years, 2020. We stargazed, watched dolphins, played in both the Gulf and St Joe Bay, fished and watched bald eagles. We ate more oysters and shrimp than we could count. Most importantly we enjoyed each other. Some things we loved: Plenty of parking All the decks and porches Hot and cold water at the outdoor shower Extra downstairs refrigerator Bathrooms for every bedroom High ceilings Heart of Pine floors Windows across the entire living area and in Gulf-front bedrooms for fantastic Gulf views Plenty of seating in dining area Extra capacity washer and dryer Plenty of private and community space Nice elevator for those of us who are less mobile

We have been enjoying this luxurious beach house for years and would highly recommend it. The owner and Pristine Reality have always taken great care of us and our needs. This home has all the comforts and enough space for our large group. The location is wonderful, only a couple blocks from the local shops, ice cream, doughnuts, seafood, liquor, etc. Oh! and the view from the deck!! You don't want to miss those sunsets. Thanks again for sharing your home with us. We will be back.

We spent a wonderful week at Moonstruck and couldn’t have been more pleased. It is a beautiful home that perfectly accommodated my large family and made our visit very special. The elevator was definitely needed because I have been dealing with an ankle injury and it worked perfectly. The water pressure was especially good and all the beds are very comfortable. We loved having the downstairs 2nd refrigerator and the kitchen was very well-appointed, with the ice maker being a great bonus. Sunsets from the decks were magnificent! There was also ample parking for this large property, which we needed. We thoroughly enjoyed our time in this beautiful home and only wish we had been staying longer.

As you climb the entrance stairs you are struck by the grandness of this home. A solid foundation, high ceilings and sprawling decks. We have stayed in many beach homes but this one beats them all. The 180 ocean at your back door is unbeatable. A bath for every bedroom and then a few more. No issues there. A lovely washer and dryer. Views from every room with sunset right out the back deck. A large sand beach that we made our own disc golf course and never lost a disc because it is that wide of a beach. The kitchen is well appointed with room for 4-5 people to work at the same time. We did a lot of cooking. The extra large refrigerator worked well and we never overwhelmed it. But it was nice to have the first floor refrigerator for drinks. The top floor game area was great for the late crowd to play games. The elevator was so helpful for coming in and leaving and bringing groceries in. Our family stayed for 5 weeks and every one loved this home so we have booked it for 2021. I will add a few things that could be improved but not deal breakers. The living area couch’s sink in with little support for those with back issues. Also I was concerned about a fire escape plan. We did have one guest that stepped out to the deck from there room at 4:30 in the morning and the door locked behind them. After hours of trying to get someone’s attention on a cold night an early morning walker made us aware of there plight. All in all a 5 star.
