The Cape San Blas Lighthouse located in George Core Park, home to many local festivals, is only two miles away. Built over 130 years ago to protect the shores of Cape San Blas, the lighthouse has taken up new residence in the City of Port St. Joe. The Keeper’s Quarters are also housed on-site and include a gift shop. Special events take place from time to time such as full moon lighthouse climbs and the annual Easter egg hunt. It’s a great place for picnics and exploring.

Reid Avenue in Downtown Port St. Joe is where all the action happens. You’re not going to find any big box stores or chain restaurants here.
