Cape Haus

Cape Haus was exactly as described. We were a short walk to the beach, expect a gravel road/driveway to the beach access small hill to get over the “dunes.” The pool is not heated, but wasn’t a big deal for us. We spent most of our hours on the beach and didn’t really find it necessary to utilize the pool. We Loved the screened porch to protect us from the no see ums at night. Be sure to review the provided amenities- we needed to have extra trash bags, dishwasher tabs, spices, paper towel and toilet paper. We were provided with one of each of those items. We do wish there were extra blankets. The house stays cool, but one flat sheet, fitted sheet and very lightweight comforter did not provide enough warmth. There were plenty of sitting areas as well as dining tables to eat. The house was decorated well and our stay was exactly as we expected. Thank you for a great first visit to Cape San Blas.

Our stay at this beautiful retreat was perfect! The house was so clean, spacious and in the perfect location. The pictures don’t do it justice! The walk to the beach looks like it is farther away than actually is. You can hear and see the ocean from the front. There are multiple outdoor living spaces to enjoy and watch the little anoles run around. The beach is beautiful and the abundance of shells is amazing. We spent a lot of time in the private pool which was such a bonus! This home is so well kept, absolutley lovely, and it was certainly a special find. The area and people of Cape San Blas are so nice. Port St. Joe was only a 15 minute drive with lots of places to go and things to do. We did take our dogs and they loved the pet friendly beach. We met a lot of pet owners walking the neighborhood and the beaches. Consider yourself privileged if you are fortunate enough to stay at this lovely home. Thank you to the owners for sharing this gem and to Pristine Properties for your care of the property. We will certainly be back!

Highly recommend! We will be back! Very spacious. Amazing pool. Very easy walk to beach and to trading post, ice cream & donut stores. We have stayed at the Cape a few times and this was our favorite house & location so far.
Definitely pay attention to what pristine has listed on their portal - very accurate and helpful information! Plus we loved the vayk Beach gear.
Only thing to note for some - master bedroom mattress is very firm!

It is so nice to have a single level home with a private pool. We take advantage of the beach, but there are times when beach not best choice and it's great to have pool as an option. Plus, it's always nice to enjoy in the evening after a day at the beach. We love the screened area to have morning coffee (or the amazing front porch)...if we aren't down at the beach watching for dolphins. I think reserving again already for next year (4th consecutive year) should also be a great example.

Very clean house. Plenty of room and places to sit for large groups. The pool was immaculate. I highly recommend this place. I think the 3rd bedroom should be disclosed that it's not a true bedroom.

Beautiful home and served our family very well. Close to the beach and the pool was a wonderful treat at the end of the day! Property was very clean and decor was nicely updated. We thoroughly enjoyed our week!

If you are looking for a property that is close to the beach and with limited stairs this is the property for you! It's private, well maintained and the pool is perfect for family and friends.

We were looking for an area that was really dog friendly and Cape San Blas was it. Then we searched for homes that were either on the beach or a short walk to it with a pool. This was a perfect house for my husband and I, my 16 yo boys and our two dogs. It was a cute layout, clean, and enough area for everyone to have their own space. While not on the beach, it was an easy 1-2 min walk. I was really impressed with Pristine Properties. They made it easy and hassle free!

Our family absolutely loved renting this house! It's just a few min walk to the beach or to the local store if you need to grab something fast for dinner. It's easy to get to the walking path if you have dogs. The house was very clean, plenty of places for our family to sleep, eat, and relax on the sofa to watch TV. The screened in patio porch is huge with plenty of space for ppl to relax. The pool is beautiful and very clean. The downstairs apartment bonus room was perfect for our older boys who wanted their own space to relax . There is plenty of space to park I couldnt think of one thing wrong w this home! It was perfect! I'm so happy we decided to rent this house for the week of July 4th, we had so much fun. This is our 3rd year back to the Cape and there isnt another place I love as much as Cape San Blas!

We loved our stay here!! The pool was so much fun and it was a great location. Just a short walk to the beach as well as a short walk to get ice cream and groceries!

Booked for our annual family scallop picking trip. Unfortunately, scallop season was pushed back but fortunately everything about this property made up for it! Great location that's walkable to the beach as well as Cape Trading Post where you can get delicious donuts and coffee in the morning and return for evening ice cream with family and friends. Well-maintained, open layout of the home encouraged our large group to spend quality time together when not at the beach or state park. Back covered porch was great during the brief time it rained and at night during an unwind session with some wine. Carport underneath the house has an outside shower which was perfect when returning from the beach. Not too big or small of a place, yet perfect for the purpose that it serves which is a get-away. Definite will consider booking this property again in the future if our group size doesn't increase. Only bad thing I have to note about is the ceiling fan when walking down into the living room/TV area. It is located in a spot that makes you fear that you may hit your head on the spinning blades as you step down the stairs. Not too much of a concern for those 5'10" and under but anyone 6'0" and above might want to duck their heads.
