Very nice property, comfortable furniture although beds were on the firmer side. Kitchen was nicely equipped. The house needs additional night lights for the bathrooms. Outside shower was a plus. Easy walk to the beach, partial gulf views. It was nice to hear the surf from the screened porch. If you rent any beach items, I suggest you skip the beach cart. The boardwalk is barely wide enough to accommodate, and with the steps over the dunes, it takes two people to lift the cart.

Our family had a wonderful time at Bethany Cottage! It was the perfect stay for us along with our daughter, son in law, and four grandkids! The location was perfect for what we wanted to do. The beach was so pleasant and not crowded! I highly recommend this home!

Loved the house. It’s decorated nicely and fit our needs.
The boardwalk to the beach had a lot of trash thrown in the grass. So disappointing how other people disrespect the environment by littering. Is there a clean up service for that?
We loved our time in Port St Joe. Not sure we will return since people are able to drive on the beach. We definitely missed the white fluffy sand from other beaches.

Great house, very well maintained. Short walk to the beach. Area underneath the house is waaay better than most other places we have stayed at the beach. They turned it into a fun place to hang out with plenty of outdoor furniture, a ground level deck and a fantastic outdoor shower area. They even have a dedicated spot to play cornhole! My family was very happy. The only thing mentioned by members of my family as a complaint was that they thought the beds were too hard. I agreed, but everyone slept ok. Overall a great beach vacation and glad we picked this spot!

The house smelled like new. Everything was impeccable. Very clean, very nicely decorated. The downstairs area is adorable, loved the lighting. This house has a great housekeeping team. LOVED IT. 100% recommend.

Due to the AC temp we would not rent again. We loved the location and area, house is awesome. But with the hard beds and AC not being adjustable we will search elsewhere. We stay in the area at least 3 times per year twice on the Cape.

Thank you for your feedback. In full disclosure the AC does allow for adjustment, it just has a preset limit of 72 degrees, which fits most but not everyone's personal requirements.

We loved the house. It was close to the beach and the community pool was very private because there was hardly anybody there in the neighborhood. The beach was very close even though we weren't Oceanfront. It was very quiet there and not very many people on the beach in our immediate area. The heated shower outdoors was wonderful for rinsing off when you returned from the beach. We loved the credit for the beach gear and took full advantage of it. The location was great because we weren't far from the highway to get into town but we felt like we were far away from civilization anyway. The only complaints that I have are one the master suite mattress was not super comfortable and it seemed like there was not as much square footage for the price we paid. Overall the vacation was well worth what we paid and if it were just a little bit bigger we would probably stay again. Once again the Pristine Properties staff was great. We will continue to use you guys every year for our family vacation.

Our family loved the rental house, and it met our needs very well. Very comfortable, super quiet neighborhood, and less than 200 steps to the sand. Awesome!

Beautiful and comfortable property, steps from the beach. So easy to go back and forth from the beach. We loved the new shower enclosure on ground floor. We had a great time! Thanks!

The location was good. The bed was awful. The pool needs an enclosure we saw lots of snakes near it and had reports of snakes in the pool/pool area. Curtains were missing from the main living area

Thank you for your feedback regarding the property and the area.  We will certainly pass your recommendations for the property on to the property owner and I'm sure they'll pass along the pool recommendations to the HOA.  Part of what makes our area so unique and less crowded than most areas in Florida is it is more "Old Florida" or natural than most.  However that also means we still have our native wildlife around, so seeing all types of birds, snakes, bugs, and the occasional bear or fox is a real possibility.

The property is outstanding. We enjoyed the easy access to the beach. It was perfect for three couples sharing the house.

We really enjoyed our stay at Bethany Cottage. The house was absolutely beautiful and in an excellent location. The proximity of the boardwalk/beach access was great. We would recommend more lighting on the stairs and under the house as previously mentioned. Would also suggest an updated coffee maker (dual pot/k cup with auto shut off). Overall, we had an excellent stay!

This is an absolutely beautiful property and well appointed. From the stocked kitchen to the beautiful decor and attention to detail. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay as a family. The screened in porch was perfect for gathering at night as well as the downstairs during the day. It was just perfect. All of it! I’d like to suggest getting some lighting for the outside. We couldn’t see going down the steps at night when the solar powered lights were out of solar storage. I especially liked the personal touches in the unit like to local photographer photograph and the story of the picture on the nightstand! Just really pretty, comfortable and inviting!

We had a wonderful week at Bethany Cottage. Beautifully furnished, very relaxing, everything you need for a great vacation. A short walk to the beach and beach NOT crowded. We are looking forward to going back soon. We could not ask for a better beach setting.
