Beachcomber

The property was very clean and better than advertised. We didn’t have internet when we got there. It took about 10 days to get it restored. Pristine Properties was close to our rental so they offered a space to use in their office until the problem was fixed. The ladies there were great, Suzanne and Heather especially! Ramone was super friendly, accommodating and great with our dogs. We hope to stay there again next year.

Beachcomber was wonderful in that it is truly steps from an uncrowded, beautiful beach! Loved that it is dog friendly and beach allows for bonfires. Baths and kitchen were nicely updated but it's time for new floors in the main level...kitchen floors felt a little gross. Deck furniture needs updating as well. We had a total clog in the lower level shower that the rental company took 4 days to fix but other than that it was a great stay with good friends - thanks!

This house is located on the beach. It faces west and during the late afternoon the sun shines directly into the living room. There are no curator blinds to help block out the sun. As a consequence it is uncomfortable to sit in the living room. The house gets very warm. I would recommend that blinds or curtains be installed.

Probably was not use this house again due to the amount of steps which can be difficult for older individuals.

Loved this unit! Have stayed at the Cape for many years and this place was one of our favorites so far. 8 of us stayed for the week and we had plenty of space to spread out. Unit is also halfway between the tradin’ post and Scallop Cove, so bike rides to those two places are super easy and convenient. Unit was updated, neat, and comfortable. Right on the beach and just a few steps away. Would rent again!

Well loved home that is so convenient to the beach and was perfect for our vacation with our two families! The kitchen was so well stocked and we had everything we needed.

The location and proximity to the beach was amazing. The house overall could use some work from the fogged sliding glass door, to broken blinds, many lamps without light bulbs, and a portion of the wooden decking at the front of the house that is rotten. The area off of the 1st floor porch also had not been mowed in some time making it such that you had to stay on the concrete or boardwalk unlike what is pictured in the online listing. We live only a couple of hours away so fully understand the extent of damage to the area from hurricane Michael, however felt like many of the things with this home were simply general maintenance issues instead of hurricane related.

We loved this property. The views and location can not be beat. The amenities were exactly as listed. The only things we would change were...a few things needed updating: the deck furniture was old and rusty,the front stairs and side walkways have wobbly and loose boards, the screens were ripped off on the porch and thrown to the corner, and we wish there were extra blankets.
