Barrier Dunes 430 - 60

My husband and I stayed at Barrier Dunes condo 430 for the whole month of March and it was by far the Best condo we have stayed in at BD in the past 13 years! You can certainly tell the owner takes pride in taking care of this condo as it truly shows. Everything is in great condition and working order. From a well appointed kitchen and a wonderful screened in deck with a great Weber grill. Plus furniture on the deck that’s better than other condos living room furniture! The unit is very spacious and lots of storage and very clean and updated. I loved the rain showers. It was great having a one deck in the shade at times and one in the sun, the best of both worlds. The location is superb as it’s very close to the beach, front pool and back pool and tennis courts. The only con was we had to go home! We truly enjoyed our stay there.

It’s been 10 years since we’ve been back to Cape San Blas and we decided to stay again in Barrier Dunes because it has everything we wanted. Close proximity to beach, pool accessibility, quiet easy going community. This unit fit our price and housing needs although we didn’t bring our dog, it is pet friendly but you wouldn’t have known it. Clean and update unit. If you’re looking for an affordable and quiet get away, consider this unit or community.

Perfect spot! Kitchen decently stocked. 400ft to the gulf& gulf side pool. Tennis courts immediately outside the back porch& next to a 2nd pool. Out door shower with covered parking. Good find& would stay again!

The place was very nice, well decorated and equipped, close to the beach and close to the tennis courts where we parked our boat and trailer. We really enjoyed the nice showers, the screened in porch, the nice gas grill and the fast internet. We also appreciated the multiple homages to Chase, we're sorry your puppy is no longer with us but, ours enjoyed sharing his place. The upstairs HVAC went out the day before we were to check out but, they had someone there within hours to take care of it. Would definitely recommend and will most likely be back. We had a great week!

Overall, we had a great stay at this unit- 430. The location is super close to the pools/beach and the updates/decor were nice. We love Cape San Blas and will return, but most likely not to this unit. Mainly because of the tennis court sounds and the uncomfortableness of the king bed upstairs. It was so firm, it was unpleasant. My husband who normally sleeps well anywhere had to sleep on the couch after the first night. The outdoor covered patio and couch seating was great at night! The day time was noisy due to the tennis courts. We did not hear it inside though. If you're at the beach all day, or out and about, the noise wouldn't bother you.

We have been to Barrier Dunes many times, but this was our first time staying in this condo, and it didn't disappoint! The unit was comfortable, inviting, relaxing, and had everything we needed for an enjoyable stay. We greatly appreciated that this unit is dog-friendly as we were able to bring our 13-year-old Chocolate Lab, who also loves the beach. The only area of improvement that I would recommend is that the cleaning crew do a better job of mopping the floors. There were still coffee spills and sticky places on the floor when we arrived. (This isn't a negative reflection on the unit or on the owners. It is just an area for the cleaning crew to improve upon.) We will definitely be back!

Perfect for Snowbirds!

We rented this townhouse in Barrier Dunes for 3 months this past winter. It was perfect for us. It is centrally located across from the pickle ball courts and one of the pools. It’s a 3 minute walk to the gloriously uncrowded beach. You can even hear the ocean from the downstairs bedroom! Barrier Dunes is only a short walk to the state park. Loved looking for the eagles’ nests and walking along the bay.

The townhouse is very nicely renovated and furnished and has a well stocked kitchen, so we were able to have most of our meals at the house. The best part was the highly coveted but rare screened in porch. I spent a lot of time out there protected from the bugs that are at the Cape no matter what time of year it is.

The owner Marna was so responsive and lovely to work with. I would highly recommend this townhouse at the Cape for anyone, but especially for snowbirds.

Overall we enjoyed our stay. We were just were depending on using the pull out couch and were unable to. Also the issue with it being a little uncomfortable with the temperature issue in the home.

Nice property that allows dogs. Watch out for achilles on stairs. People have dinged the place for needed maintenance but it was all just fine other than B the curling stair covers but it wouldn’t stop us from returning.

Really liked the close proximity to the beach! Barrier Dunes is a great condo community! Nice deck that was covered and screened in, although a little too hot to enjoy other than early morning.

What a joy this property was! Newly renovated, comfortable beds, and a sweet backstory about their dog Chase. We soooo enjoyed being able to bring our big and gentle lab-mix. It made our vacation so much more like family time! Thank you again for a lovely stay! We would love to come back!

We enjoyed our week at the beach. The condo was clean and well stocked. No complaints about the property at all. The property owner is very nice and easy to talk to. If we come again without the extended family, we would stay here again.

This was the perfect getaway trip. The house was clean and equipped with all the amenities we needed. We were just minutes to the beach and enjoyed incredible sunsets every night! The covered patio off the family room was definitely an added bonus! Highly recommend! We will be back!

Our family stayed here for seven nights. The location of the condo was perfect. The area is so nice and convenient to the beach and both pools. The condo had everything we needed for the perfect week. Cape San Blas is a hidden gem. Pristine properties was very helpful and communicated with us during our stay. The discounted Beach service that provided chairs and equipment for the beach was a major plus! The discount pristine has arranged with them was super beneficial during our stay. It was very nice not to have to take down chairs in the car and having to deal with sandy chairs on the way home. We would highly recommend staying at this location and will certainly be back in the future!I82

Such a great location and an easy walk to the beach! We loved that we were able to bring our pup with us! Everyone had a great time!
