Barrier Dunes 422 - 64

422 Barrier Dunes provides excellent access to the beautiful beach, two pools, and pickleball courts. The condo is nicely furnished with a number of updates including a brand new stainless steel French door refrigerator, coffee board, plenty of kitchen ware, and even new TFal pots. A washer + dryer are a great addition, as well. Plus, Cape San Blas is very convenient to nearby St. Joe's State Park and Port St Joe's wonderful "Ole Florida" atmosphere and fantastic eateries. We enjoyed a great stay at 422 Barrier Dunes!

We have booked this beautiful townhome again as it is comfortable and inviting. The decor is tasteful, functional and relaxing, and the location is just a short walk to the beach, pools and tennis/pickleball courts. We also enjoyed several improvements to the unit including a new refrigerator, area rug and a coffee bar with a wide range of options for brewing, frothing milk and fun flavorings. New master suite furniture also provided comfy and restful sleep after our fun-filled days. This townhome feels like our home away from home except this includes beach walks, great shelling and beautiful gulf sunsets. We will be back!

Truly outstanding experience at this townhome and love the comfort, charm and warmth. We have stayed here several times in the past, during different times of the year. It is always a perfect time to visit. The townhome has great amenities and is functional and comfortable. It is located just a stone's throw from the magnificent beach and we made sure we took a walk there every day and also enjoyed the most gorgeous sunsets imaginable. The two swimming pools and tennis/pickleball courts are also nearby with easy access. The owners take great care to provide many nice touches. We can't wait to return. We love this townhome!

Great decor, and kitchen stocked with everything you could need. Location is great close to beach and I could watch my kids walk to the pool.

The property was sufficient for my family of 4. The location to the beach and pools was fantastic. The unit, however, is in need of updating. Bathrooms and kitchen are very dated. Coffee maker is on its last leg. Dryer doesn’t dry very well. It has an ironing board but no iron. Refrigerator has broken shelf and a strip of Duck Tape as a freezer door retainer. A little money in the right places and this unit could be a gem. We did have a fantastic experience and loved the area.

Thank you for your feedback regarding your stay and the property. We have noted the issues you have reported and will certainly look into them. While Duck Tape is not a permanent fix for anything we do try and get creative for its uses on temporary issues while new parts are on order.

The property was good overall. Enjoyed the grill and decent assortment of kitchen items. But the number of minor issues will have us looking at other options for our next Barrier Dunes visit.

The kitchen had equipment you need but no cabinets for food. Suggest bringing plastic tubs for food storage.

Really enjoyed staying at 422 Barrier Dunes. The location was convenient to everything. This was our dogs first time on the beach. First day he wanted nothing to do with it. After the second day, that's all he wanted to do was go to the beach. Very nice unit. Nice community.

Cape San Blas and this beautiful home are new favorites for our family of four! This home is our go-to place to stay at the Cape. It is conveniently located within a gated property, just a short walk to the amazing beach, pools, and tennis courts. And it is so close to the state park -- which is a reasonable bike ride or short drive. The home furnishings are beautiful and comfortable - we felt very at home! Both bedrooms have a private bathroom (3 showers total) plus a half bath between the kitchen and living room. Love the new flooring which is perfect for the beach and sandy feet. The kitchen is well-maintained and stocked with appliances, cookware, utensils, and table service items. Nice deck with gas grill and tables/chairs. This is exactly the kind of place you want for a vacation - obviously well maintained by owners who have thought of the details. We can't wait to return - one of our best vacations!

What a wonderful vacation at Cape San Blas!! The condo is beautiful and well appointed, had everything we could need, and was an extremely short walk to the pool and beach. This was our 2nd stay at the condo and we will be back for sure! The bed is amaaaaaaaazingly comfortable. Everything we needed was available in the condo. All in all, a great stay. If you have not been to Cape San Blas before, you are in for a treat!

We liked the property. Well decorated, convenient place--good feel overall. Bathrooms fine--no problems. Layout fine. Doors and windows worked fine. HVAC worked fine. Lighting fine but a breaker was tripped

The area is lovely-great beach and weather was nice. The last day we had wind and some rain from TS Olga. There was still damage from 2018 Hurricane at the Cape. We were able to bike ride, visit Weber’s Donuts, go kayaking in the bay, walk the beach and play in the waves. Furnishings were comfortable and adequate and were able to enjoy books and all our favorite TV shows when the sun went down. One of the pools was closed during our stay. Play area really doesn’t have anything for the kiddos. Grill needs to replaced and the condo’s underneath area needs cleaned. All that aside -we love the beach and that did not disappoint! Even on the stormy day, we saw rainbows, dolphins, and majestic skies.

Property was in almost perfect condition, great supply of kitchen wares, great location to beach only a short walk. The outside grill worked good. The back deck does need to be pressured washed or updated after the storm last year. Great property for a group of 4 people or family of 6.

My husband, son and I had a wonderful stay in Cape San Blas. A short walk to an incredibly beautiful beach. The condo was clean, roomy a home away from home.

My husband and I had a wonderful time at this comfortable and very nicely furnished townhouse. Even though the townhouse is not right on the beach, it's only a very short walk to get there. Besides the townhouse is very close to the clubhouse, which has a swimming pool and sun deck. The beach was beautiful. The weather was great. Would definitely recommend.
