We have stayed in barrier dunes many times and this was one of our favorite places! Great location, beautiful views, comfortable beds, all the kitchen amenities we needed, beach toys and gear, and the screened back porch with the fan was a huge plus. It was perfect for us and our three young kids. Pristine properties was very easy to work with. Would definitely rent again.

Overall, the rental was very clean, good location in the community, etc. You're better off booking thru pristine properties directly. Didn't realize this when we booked and would have saved a few hundred bucks if we booked direct. Also, don't get their beach equipment rental...place was well equipped already with chairs, wagon, toys, etc...but listing did not mention this. Again, would have saved money had I known. Great price and plenty of room though overall to fit my family of five.

Our family absolutely loved this place! It was so clean and everything felt new. It had everything we needed and the amenities at the place were great. We swam in both pools and played pickleball on the courts. The 3 separate boardwalks made beach access super easy. The house is well organized with everything clearly marked, so it made it easy to find (and return to its proper place) all items. Would 100% stay here again.

A bright and updated home, end unit with a screened in porch. Was close to pool and an easy walk or bike ride to the beach. Some minor wear and tear on the property.

We have stayed at this property 3 times. We love the screen porch that they have added. The beds are very comfortable and the area is very quiet. Note- the bikes do not work and should be thrown away. Also more coffee mugs are needed and there are no hair dryers in the unit. We definitely will continue to come back to this property—-

We really enjoyed the screened deck and the beautiful sunrise views of the bay! The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to cook a variety of meals. We didn't use the bicycles, but appreciated having a beach cart and a nice supply of chairs to use. We primarily spent our days at the state park (nearby location is great) with both options of bay and beach, and evenings were spent walking on the beach at the property seeing fabulous sunsets, friendly dogs, and bonfires.

listing pretty much exactly what it shows! great location nice and quiet. Wi-Fi was quick. kitchen has hardly any supplies so be sure to bring your own. they do have utensils and stuff but I'm talking about like cooking supplies. we also needed to get dishwashing soap as they didn't have any.
washer and dryer upstairs work great and the beds were very comfortable. house was clean and owner was great with communicating!

This was a perfect place to spend Thanksgiving as a family of four. The bedrooms, bathrooms, and kitchen were clean and well-lit. All balconies had seating, and the main balcony had plenty of room for everyone. Lovely spot to enjoy a cup of coffee and watch a variety of birds during the day, and listen to owls calling at night! The kitchen is very well-stocked and had everything we needed and more to prepare our Thanksgiving meal. The living room, dining area, and kitchen are perfectly located so that everyone can hang out together in one place. The community was quiet and clean as well - it seems that most dog walkers do a good job of cleaning up after their pets. There was a dog bed in one of the upstairs bedroom closets, a thoughtful touch if you forget to bring your dog's! The stairs from the second to third floor are open at the back, so small dog owners may want to carry their pups up and down. Do make sure you bring extra paper towels/toilet paper/bath towels/toiletries with you. There are several delicious, fun local restaurants on the Cape, on the mainland, and down the road in Apalachicola, but we enjoyed the townhouse so much that we cooked most of our meals at home while soaking in the view through the back window! The state park is immediately behind the Barrier Dunes community, and you can see the bay through the trees from this particular unit! Check-in/-out was hassle-free. Plenty of books, games, and puzzles. Definitely recommend this rental for families!
