Barrier Dunes 124 - 158 Sunset Dream

Let me first say we enjoyed our stay. We wanted to be closer to nature and the beach, and we achieved that. Here's a few things we took note of. PROS nice, family oriented neighborhood Relatively close to the beach (10 min walk) Clean, fully stocked with linens and necessities 3 level and spacious layout, with decks for each bedroom Open areas outside and around the unit plenty of space for gathering and/or grilling CONS For some unknown reason, the "master bedroom" DOES NOT HAVE A DOOR. Please be aware of this because if privacy is something you expect, just know that the master bedroom suite is open, so privacy is not something that you will get. It's designed like this btw. Pests - it's understood being on an island like Cape San blas right next to the state park and wildlife reserve that pests are all around you. But, I still think seeing several pests daily means the property likely needs a little bit stronger form of pest control than what they're using. Dated - this property is very dated. The furniture, decorations, and electronics are also very dated. Not a modernized feel. Not a real issue, but something we took note of. I would suggest this property as I mentioned if you're traveling in a situation where you don't need any real privacy, and you want to be a little bit closer to the state park. If that fits your needs, it'll be right up your alley!

Had a great stay in Cape San Blas. Check in was easy, location was great and the condo was very nice.

the apartment was clean. we were kindly given a apartment close to the play ground and were still within walking distance to the pool and beach. I would have appreciated a more pronounced notice that there would be NO extra toilet paper, trash bags, or paper towels. Kitchen supplies were adequate and appliances worked well. The bigger bed was a little squeaky and with no door to our room.... little privacy.

We really enjoyed our condo. The community was so quiet and beautiful. Easy to get in and out. Our condo was very clean and easily accessible to everything. The beds were also comfortable. If you're a light sleeper, bring a fan. The frogs are a little loud at night depending on the time of year.

The condo structure itself was fairly well maintained. The kitchen was in good condition and the bathrooms were pristine. Kitchen was well equipped. However, sofas needs to be replaced, rickety glass table needs to go, vertical blinds on sliding glass doors need to be replaced, beds have no padding and could use topper, pillows are flat as pancakes and need to be replaced. Unit was very clean and carpeting/linoleum in good shape which made the other problems more tolerable. Will not be renting this unit again.

This unit is clean, but dated. The furnishings could use a facelift. It's the furthest unit from the beach in barrier dunes, but easy access to the playground and a view of the bay from the back patio. Water pressure is good. The kitchen seems well equipped. But the living room furniture has seen better days and pillows are pancake flat.

Loved everything about this vacation rental! Beautiful beaches and the little community it is in was very nice. Although the water was still to cold to swim, in the pool it was very inviting!

This had been our 3rd time in this unit! We live it so much that we try to come back every year. The house and the way it’s being maintained and decorated is simply outstanding. Being able to use Beach gear credit as well as a family fun pass makes this vacation a wonderful memory each time. It’s the first time returning after hurricane Michael and we were blown away how fast and determined this property and other businesses were to rebuild and serve us again. We love that it’s not crazy busy and that nature is our entertainment the whole week we are staying. Thank you Pristine Properties!

If you are looking for a pristine/untouched beach without traveling around the world, THIS is where to go! Loved the overall experience, and management was very prompt and caring of our needs!
