If you’re not as familiar with St. Joe Beach as you are with some of the other North Florida Beaches, then now is the time to get acquainted. St. Joe Beach is a laid back strip of beach less than 5 miles, tucked between Mexico Beach and Port St. Joe. The quiet shoreline of white sandy beaches is protected by Cape San Blas peninsula making it ideal for vacationing families. What also makes St. Joe Beach special is that it is a pet friendly beach. While dogs aren’t allowed on Mexico Beach, you can stay minutes down the road and let your four-legged companion join in on the fun.

Anchored Inn 3 is located just a short walk from the beach and has great views of the water from the large deck. If you do decide to bring your dog, or children lol, the owners have taken the worry out for you with a retractable gate on the top floor deck. This is where you will find a bistro table for your morning coffee, and the large picnic table for evening meals. Also outside, there is a great outdoor shower tucked away under the exterior stairs, a ground floor patio, a single car garage and a fire pit in the fenced in backyard.

House was clean, furniture comfortable. Proximity to dog friendly beach was great! However, amenities were very stingy; only a single roll of TP for a 30 day stay!! Also, no cleaning service included, and no cleaning materials provided. Rented the 3bdrm house with fenced yard because we were bringing our dogs. However, had to walk downstairs and around to back of house to access the fenced yard so not very convenient. No cable as advertised. PP staff were very responsive to all questions.

They rent this property as a 3 bedroom- just upstairs or a 4 bedroom- including downstairs. Make sure you book for how many bedrooms you want. Also ice machine in laundry room downstairs is a big plus!!

This is a duplex, with a separate unit on ground floor that was not occupied when we were there. The second unit was not mentioned in the description. Tenant must sign a harsh rental agreement with damage penalties but there is no pre- and post- check for damage (we found damaged chair & towel rack). There was a $275 cleaning fee, which is twice as much as for seven other places we have rented in FL. Then Pristine tried to charge additional $168 'pet fee' which we declined. They also charge 'linen fees', 'community fee' (whatever THAT is...), damage liability fee, etc. Instruc said unit had cable TV, but it didn't. Pristine Properties' "Guest Portal" was difficult to navigate; first page never showed the door lockbox entry code, there was a 'server error' preventing online checkout and staff were very slow to respond to info requests. In other words, VERY renter-unfriendly. On he plus side, it is a fairly nice place and very short walk to beach and big fenced back yard.

Steve, we appreciate your feedback and will work towards enhancing our guest experience. To be completely clear the property is not a duplex, it rents as either a 3 bedroom unit, like what you rented, or as a 4 bedroom unit with the addition of the downstairs. They are never rented separately; I guess we never thought we needed to specify it. Thank you for highlighting the positive aspects of your stay as well. We hope you enjoyed the proximity to the beach and the spacious backyard.
