2-The-Beach

2 the Beach was perfect for our family. We loved the views, the deck and furniture were very comfortable and it was so close to the beach! The beach gear credit was also a pleasant surprise! It was very nice to have a bathroom in each bedroom too! There were some maintenance issues and the queen beds were not the most comfortable. I would suggest a broom be available as we stayed for two weeks and extra towels and blankets would’ve been nice. But overall, we enjoyed our stay!

Property had a few deferred maintenance issues, but the showers and AC worked so we had a great time. The beach is as uncrowded as possible for Florida, and Port St Joe has a delightful downtown area. Overall, a great vacation. Check in/check out was super easy too.

We loved the place and so did my dogs!!! I couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. It was our first time in Cape San Blas. The house had everything we needed for our stay.

Convenient location, has a view of the ocean over the dunes. Nice screened porch on main level.

We just went for a quick beach weekend. The house was lovely! There is a nice screened in Porch with a gorgeous view. We pretty much had the beach to ourselves as well as the pool!! Would love to go back!

Pros: Dog friendly, screened in porch, comfortable beds and furniture, close to beach. Very relaxing. Cons: Queen beds squeaked, toaster was too small. Could use a master bedroom door and black out curtains in the bedrooms.

Smooth process, clean, cool, very comfortable beds and outdoor furniture. Never watched TV or sat in living room,nor cooked, but plenty of cooking utensils.

Too many stairs- we rented late in the year (I usually rent in December) due to mom having COVID and not doing well. We always use Pristine. Will definitely rent another house for next year but one with just one floor and less than 100 feet to beach. LOL

We really liked the property. We liked that each bedroom had its own bathroom. The description matched well the property. We actually liked the property even more than we thought we would. The trash was never picked up all week so we had to carry our trash to the road and try to find a can that had room for it. We managed fine, but it would've been nice to have had the can emptied.

One of the previous reviews on this property was not accurate. I found Pristine Properties quite responsive. We had an issue with the water heater on a Saturday and a plumber was at the property within an hour of my call to the office. Otherwise the location was great and immediately next to the beach. Some of the pieces of furniture, like the mattresses and couches, were dated and have seen better days. However, overall it was a perfect place for a beach recharge.

This place was perfect, except the microwave didn’t work the entire time we were there. A couple of things that could have made the stay nicer would be more towels and a blanket for pull out sofa, but it’s a great location and beach was excellent.

There were numerous coffee makers;none of which worked very well;we timed it once and it took 32 minutes for a pot of 12 cups to make.There was no blender and no hot pads.

Thanks for your feedback on the property and we'll see if we can't get a blender and hot pads down to the unit.  I guess the saying "a watched coffee pot never brews" doesn't apply here?

If you want to get away from the crowd and enjoy beach time and fishing this is the place everything was what we expected.

If the beds, grill, and microwave etc were fixed I would consider the location again

I'm sorry to hear that you feel the grill was too small to use or that the microwave kept tripping a breaker.  I'm not sure what issue you had with the beds but I do wish things had been better your liking.  I'm glad to see that you thought the Kitchen was well equipped and that overall the property was well maintained.  We hope you enjoyed the beach and the time spent in our area.
